I would like to ask if it's possible to make voice command with more than 1 'F' keys, for using it with battlefield 1942 and battlefield Vietnam . Those programs uses radio commands with the f keys only. For example, F3 and F1 will reproduce "enemy tank spotted".

Yes, you can make an Action with more than one function key. When you create an Action "Tank Spotted" for the command 1 enter "F3" in the extended key, then click "Add" in the command area and for command 2 select "F1" for the extended key. If you need more commands just add them as many as you need.

I've assigned the L-WIN key to a command and every time the action is triggered my game disappears and the menu on the Start button in Windows pops up, what wrong?

Make sure your game supports those keys, if the game doesn't support the R-WIN and L-WIN keys do not use them as a command key.

What makes VAC different?

VAC was created from the start so anyone could build their own profile for any software that uses keyboard commands. You no longer have to wait for someone else to create and release a game profile or modify your in game keyboard assignments to make the profile work. You can easily create or modify your own profiles.

I've paid for my registration so why haven't I received my code?

If it's been over 24 hours since you have made the payment please send an email to vacsupport (-at-) dwvac (-dot-) com and ask for a follow up. There have been a few times went the buyer's email address was incorrect causing the registration email to bounce back with "reason: 550 Invalid recipient".

In must cases the registration was in the purchaser's junk email folder. Please check your junk email folder.

If you pay by eCheck the funds will be pending, it will take about 4 business days for the funds to clear.

I am attempting to use the left ALT key as the PTA key. It just does not work at all.

The game sees the PTA key and the issued VAC command as a key combination and that’s the problem you may be having. I’ll try and explain that a bit better.

For example, say you have an action “Raise Gear” which will send the “g” key when activated by VAC. Each time you say “Raise Gear” the “g” key is sent and all is fine, but now you assign a PTA key like “L-Alt”. So you press “L-Alt” and say “Raise Gear”, the game sees “L-Alt+g” and the command is not recognized. Some games this will not matter, but games that allow key combinations will be a problem.

To solve the problem, assign a mouse button as the PTA key, and then tie a joystick button to that mouse button. Each time the joystick button is pressed, it’s sending the PTA to VAC and the game will not see a key combination sent when VAC issues the key command.

I've gone through the effort to train VAC, and I'm going to change computers.  Do you have to train it again?

No, not if you have the Speech Profile Manager tool, a free download from http://download.microsoft.com.  This tool will let you transfer all the settings and your individualized language model from one Windows system to another.

Be careful: the MS engine profile optimizes your voice for the context in which it was trained, so you may want to adjust the training again if you switch to a computer with a different microphone or if you change other acoustic characteristics like moving from a desktop in a small room to a PC in a room with different acoustics.
